nerd-on-the-loose asked: How are guinness' feet doing?
Much better. :) I’ll keep him out of agility or super rough play time for another week, but some foot tlc is helping them out a lot. I think he might possibly have irritated the skin with pine sap - sometimes it gets all up in the hair between his toes!
Poor Guinness tore up his paws today somehow (he did go to a play meetup), so now he’s puddling around the apartment in his inflatable collar, some new crew socks I didn’t realize were crew when I got them, and bandages to keep the socks on. (And there’s a little bit of neosporin with pain relief…the very nice vet tech on the emergency line suggested that can help sometimes as long as he can’t lick it.)
I tried to put him in his crate, and got a very distinct “you have GOT to be kidding me” look. Although he can lie down - he just bulldozed in to a pile of toys and fell on them.
Corgi front paws are NOT easy to keep socks on!
